A teaching tool for young Mario fans (or reference at the bar)

I wish I didn’t feel like I had to watermark it.

Ever get an idea and just have to do it? This is one of those types of things. There’s about a hundred games Mario has appeared in. I chose the most confusingly titled. I had to leave off the ultimate chad Mario title: Super Mario World: Super Mario Advanced 2. It would have demanded 2 lines from Super! The Advanced series made it far too cluttered. Don’t even get me started with the New Super Mario Bros. Wii series.

Here’s a link to another thing I felt compelled to do with a brief write-up.

Let me take one moment while writing about Mario to mention something. I believe the pronunciation of someone’s name is their right to determine whether a person or place. I respected my buddy Joel at work who pronounced it Joe-el; It’s Rapa Nui, not Easter Island; The debate of ‘nvidia’ was settled immediately when their video began with them saying ‘en-vidia’.

With all that in mind: The Italian plumber’s name is pronounced the same way as car. That a sound. Mah-ri-o. Ya know, like the infamous opening screen of Mario 64? People saying Mare-io probably dug too deep with a q-tip. Fight me.
